We may also disclose personal information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a proposed or completed business transfer. Any such disclosure remains subject to applicable law.
Shopify and Enhanced Services
Our Site is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information when you visit our Site and make purchases. We also use Shopify Network Intelligence, which allows Shopify to use information about interactions with our store together with information about interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including services that support shopping experiences, business improvements, and advertising.
To provide these services, personal information is shared with Shopify and relevant third parties, which may be located in countries other than where you live. Shopify’s processing for these purposes is described in its Consumer Privacy Policy.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to opt out of certain sharing or targeted-advertising uses. You can use our Your Privacy Choices page, where available, or contact us at info@hermioneelma.com about an applicable opt-out request.
Cookies and Advertising Choices
Cookies are small files placed on your device. Some cookies and similar technologies are needed for the Site to function, while others support analytics, personalization, or advertising features where enabled.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect features such as your shopping cart or checkout.
Where a cookie banner or privacy-preferences control is displayed on our Site, you can use it to manage the choices offered there. You can also manage advertising preferences through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Depending on applicable law, certain disclosures for targeted advertising may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising. Where available, use our Your Privacy Choices page to manage applicable opt-outs, or email info@hermioneelma.com.
Where required by applicable law, we recognize supported browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control. Browser cookie controls, platform advertising preferences, and opt-outs do not necessarily stop all information collection or all advertising.
Email Choices
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting info@hermioneelma.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary communications about an order, appointment, or service you requested.
Photographs and Videos
You may choose to provide photographs, videos, or reference images when discussing a garment or service. We may use those materials to understand your preferences and fulfill your request.
Permission to use an identifiable client’s photograph or video in public marketing is handled separately. Purchasing a garment, attending a fitting, or providing private reference materials does not automatically authorize promotional use of your image.
Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. This includes fulfilling orders and services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements.
Retention periods depend on the information involved and why it is held. A deletion request may be subject to exceptions where information must be retained for legal or transaction-related purposes.
No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send complete payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email or social media messages.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and the laws that apply to our business, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, or a portable copy. You may also have rights to opt out of certain advertising-related uses or disclosures.
To submit a request, email info@hermioneelma.com or call 561-484-3021. Please identify your request and provide the contact information associated with your interactions with us.
We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority before acting on a request. Please do not email identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate process.
Where applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal a denied request by emailing us with “Privacy Request Appeal” in the subject line. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children’s Information
Our Site is not directed to children under 13. Parents or guardians should manage inquiries and purchases for children under 13.
A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information can contact us to request review and deletion. Requests are handled subject to applicable law.
Third-Party Websites
Our Site may link to websites and services operated by others, including social media platforms and appointment services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
