It Begins With Your Story
You may have a dress in mind that you have imagined for years. Or perhaps you only know how you want to feel when you wear it, and you are still searching for the words to describe it.
You are welcome to begin with either.
At Hermione Elma Atelier, your consultation is a chance for us to get to know you, hear about your occasion, and understand what matters to you. Bring your photographs, your questions, and the little details you keep coming back to. You do not need to have it all figured out before we meet.
Finding Your Dress, Together
During your one-on-one consultation with Hermione, we will talk through your ideas, look at fabric possibilities, and explore shapes and details that feel right for you. We will also discuss your budget and event date, so the direction we develop is both personal and thoughtfully planned.
Perhaps it is a sleeve you have always loved, a neckline you feel beautiful in, or a color you cannot imagine choosing anything else over. Those details give us a place to begin.
A detailed final illustration can be booked for an additional fee after your consultation and is delivered by email or text within approximately two weeks.
From the First Conversation to the Final Fitting
There is something special about watching an idea take shape in fabric. Through the design process and your fittings, we work with you to refine the garment, paying attention to how it sits, how it moves, and how you feel wearing it.
Custom pieces generally involve two to three fittings. The fittings and alterations needed to complete your agreed design are included in your custom price.
We accept a limited number of commissions so we can give each piece the time and attention it needs.
A Few Details Before We Begin
Evening and prom gowns generally range from $1,200 to $5,000, and custom bridal gowns from $3,000 to $10,000. Your quotation will reflect the design, fabric, construction, and finishing details we discuss.
Consultations are by appointment, with a non-refundable fee credited toward your custom order if you proceed. Once your commission is accepted and the details are agreed upon, a 60% deposit begins the process, with the remaining 40% due before pickup or shipping.
Please allow approximately 10–24 weeks for custom garments and 4–8 months for bridal gowns. We will discuss your individual timeline before accepting your commission.
If Your Occasion Is Soon
Please tell us your date before booking an urgent order. We will review your ideas and let you know whether we can give your piece the attention it needs within the time available.
Rush fees are additional to the garment price and begin at $228 for 20–30 days, $308 for 10–19 days, and $350 for 3–9 days. Availability and the final fee are confirmed individually.
